A bug in Chase’s online banking services saw duplicate transactions for customers. The double transactions were also seen in users of Zelle in the Chase app. As of Friday morning, the situation has not been resolved, with many customers taking to social media to vent about the long wait times with customer service.
A Chase spokesperson confirmed the problem and promised that all duplicate charges will be reversed and that related fees will be adjusted.
